The purpose of the Nation-2-Nation (N-2-N) curriculum is to help pastors and Christian workers to receive significant and necessary ministry training, even when they are unable to attend a traditional Bible school. The curriculum is meant to be used in the local church to train, equip, and raise-up pastors, evangelists, and Christian workers. The curriculum will not be associated with any one denomination, so that it can be widely used and received.
N-2-N is different from other curriculums. It recognizes that God is raising up anointed teachers in developing countries around the world, and that He desires to give them an international voice. And it records the teaching of key national leaders, making their messages available throughout their own geographical regions, and in some cases, to the body of Christ worldwide.
This is important because for many years, the majority of missionaries and international teachers have been from prosperous, developed, western countries. They often have a hard time truly identifying with the poverty, suffering, and persecution faced by believers in the countries they minister in. With the church maturing in many countries which were traditionally considered mission fields, God is raising up leaders who can speak with authority to issues which a foreign missionary cannot.
In 2007 WIN Ministries officially began production of this new curriculum. To date we have filmed numerous speakers from Latin America and India. We are doing filming in Mexico, the U.S. and in Asia. We have already filmed significant Christian leaders like Rev. P.G. Vargis, who some consider to be “the Billy Graham of India.” Pastor Vargis is the founder of over 5,000 churches in Northern India.
WIN Ministries is currently partnering with numerous denominations to develop the “N-2-N Latin American Curriculum.” This will be a complete DVD curriculum in Spanish, taught by national pastors and leaders from around Latin America. At the same time, WIN is working on a complete curriculum in Hindi.
N-2-N is a curriculum flavored by the unique experiences and cultural perspectives of anointed leaders from many nations. We are looking forward to the day when the words of an Egyptian pastor will challenge American students to action, and the testimony of an Indian elder will encourage Chinese disciples to stand against persecution.
